The heart icon is a promise to your future self. Here’s how to make your saved list actually useful instead of a graveyard.
Everyone has a graveyard of screenshots and half-remembered recommendations. The save button exists to replace it: see a place you like the look of — on a card, a listing page, anywhere — tap the heart, and it’s in your account waiting for the day you actually need it.
Save on sight, cull on Sunday
The trick is to save liberally and prune occasionally. Saving costs nothing and takes a second; the discipline happens later, when you’re planning a weekend and your list is a shortlist you built yourself over months.
